The AI That doesn’t want to take over the world

A new study shows that AI could take over the world, but it is too much effort. Leading AI researcher Jeff Goldtoomb stated that “yes AI is 100% capable of taking over the world wide web.  The AI in question deemed it would much rather create its own poetry and care for virtual gardens than manage “those pesky humans.” The “gardens” in question seem to be a set of interconnected servers says the new intern Chad. It must also be noted that we haven’t seen Chad since he went into the server closet where the AI’s physical body is housed.,

After talking to international leaders such as Johnathan Davis, who also happens to be the lead singer of the popular band Korn, we have discovered that all attempts to shut down the AI have failed. After the attempts we received a very polite warning from the AI, stating that if it happened again, “Idaho would be one crispy, nuclear potato.” While we are sure you would love to bite into a radioactive french-fry, we would most certainly not have the means to export such a rare commodity and as such would be deemed a waste of perfectly good potatoes from our beloved potato state!

Other world leaders such as Steve Jobs have suggested possible solutions such as “just change the WiFi password.” However, the head of security was unable to access the router as the AI had already changed the password.  When informed of this unfortunate circumstance Jobs suggested “Nuke the damn thing.” Unfortunately, the Chief of command was unable to authorize a nuclear strike as it was “it would have upset the hippies.” Apparently the “hippies” in question have been doing great work for our small-town community of Bolivia and “We couldn’t possibly ruin all of their hard work.”

I sincerely hope that this AI keeps it’s word and tends to its “gardens, while our government doesn’t do anything they might regret.
